Mount Silverheels - 13,822 ft
Date:
10-7-07
Climbers: George & Molly
Route: Northwest Ridge via Scott Gulch, Class 2
RT
distance: 6.5 miles
Elevation
gain: 3,400 feet
Trip Report:
Despite a weather forecast calling for half a foot of snow the night before (and
an additional 2" during the day), I thought I'd give Silverheels a try. I
arrived packed for a suffer-fest and was pleasantly surprised by a perfect fall
day.

Molly the Wonder Dog
"I
wonder if George has more deer jerky."
"I wonder why George walks so slow."
"I wonder if George has more milk bones."

Mt. Lincoln from Scott Gulch

On the way home Molly found a comfortable position to sleep (?!), and the
weather started to look more like the forecast.
